24d per gallon1/15/2024 It is unlawful to sell a product without its appropriate label. To me it is no different than buying a unlabeled can of vegetables from the store. If there is no label then someone at the store has removed it prior to purchase and this is dangerous to the consumer. The second thing is to see if the label is intact. I take off the cap and see if the foil protector is intact. How often has someone looked at the label and can't read the blurred or smeared print because it is printed on wild colored backgrounds.?Ĭonsumer's are being lured by beautifully colored bottles and fancy glittery labels. especially, when the manufacturer's are printing the information illegibly. I am saddened to know that the labels are becoming more and more unclear to read. I have read on this site of big suppliers not providing adequate labeling for professional products also. The products are sent by corporate initiatives to lure the consumer. My point is in retail sales, staff is often uneducated to direct consumers and the management is helpless in education also. This stuff is for insects inside and outside. Now, I won't get into the product because I purchased 5 bottles of this stuff.40.00 each. It is a product that CLEARLY states to be purchased by certified and licensed professionals only. Just the other day.at ACE Hardware, I noticed a product in their pesticide department. I feel that consumers are being misled into purchasing things that can be destructive without pertinent information. We pro's have to carry the labels in our vehicles along with MSDS sheets for accidents. How Much 24D Per 30 Gallon Of Water: The amount of 2,4-D that you should mix into a gallon of water varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, but as a general rule of thumb, you should mix 1-5 ounces of 2,4-D per gallon of water for most 2,4-D products. Have fun.nothing more satisfying, well next to plowing, than to spray a broadleaf infested area and see the plants getting sick.makes you realize their is a God and a hoe is NOT an extension of your arm.The first thing that all consumers need to understand is to inspect the container before purchase unless it was purchased online. I like to say you can see their heads start hanging down and they look like their sick. Most broadleaf plants will start showing signs of spray in that period of time. I have found that within two hours, if you spray on a good sunny day, you will see how good your kill rate has been. Then you can mix the spray and go to work. That way you can see if your nozzles are at the proper height and are giving you a good overlapping cover. Turn the spray rig on while sitting on an area that is plain dirt. 2-4-D is cheap.now with some of the other stuff, I would say you might need to calibrate.Īnother thing you might do is this.Fill your tank with just water. Hook up and start spraying.stop, get off the tractor and walk back to the area you just sprayed.is it fairly wet? does it look like you got good coverage? If so then jump back on the tractor and keep spraying. If you have a 60 gallon sprayer then you would put about 120 ounces of 2-4-D in your spray rig and then fill it with water and perhaps some common dish soap which works as a sticker agent.cheaper than the stuff they sell just for that use. If you want a strong kill, i.e., you have a lot of broadleaf you are wanting to kill, then mix the 24-D about 2 ounces per gallon of water. RancherSam.you are making it way too complicated.
